Welcome to Bitterbones's CDs, Books and Collectibles!
Ive been selling on Ebay and Yahoo auction sites for about 8 years now so buy with confidence!
All of my CDs are guaranteed to be real manufactured compact discs, and not bootlegs, CD-Rs or cheap knock offs. I do sell an occasional music club release used cd, such as BMG, and those will be clearly marked in the title and description.
About my used CD grading guidelines, I'm extremely picky about condition.
A "Mint" CD will have absolutely no scratches, and appear as a brand new CD that has just been opened. Maybe a minor thumb mark on the booklet but thats about it.
A "Near Mint" CD may have up to 3 or 4 very light scratches which are only visible when the CD is held up to the light, and plays perfectly. Still in excellent shape and almost appears new except a few extremely minor flaws.
A "Fine" CD will perhaps have a few more light scratches than a near mint CD, but the packaging is still very appealing and the CD plays perfectly. A fine CD is still a great addition to any collection, and will always be checked to assure that it plays flawlessly and without any problems.
"Fine" is the lowest grade I will sell. I wont sell more heavily scratched CDs since they could possibly skip or have playback problems. If I wouldnt want it in my collection, I wont sell it, period.
Most sellers would probably lump these 3 categories into one category of "mint", since they are all excellent condition cds.
